I'm one of those late bloomers. In 1978 I took a detour from playing music. Started a small manufacturing business so I could make a decent living to raise my family. Now that my children are grown and my business has been sold, I have returned to the thing I love doing most in the world, playing and composing music. All the years I messed were not a loss by any means. I have been lucky enough to have my cake and eat it to. With my wife of 40 years by my side, more grand kids than I can count and living the dream of writing music.
One of the first songs I wrote after returning to music was a song called The Dream. It's about never,never giving up on ones dreams.
